  • Sixties Volkswagen beetle

    Hi!

My name is Pieter Veenstra 22 years old, I live in the Netherlands.

In 2008 I bought an old Volkswagen beetle from 1960. It was completely rotten out, and needed a full body-off restauration. In august this year, I finished the project and i'm driving it since then!

The bug is lowered significant, and rolling on Porsche Gasburners. Customized front suspension with a 4" narrowed beam with dropped spindels and a disc-brake conversion on the front. Notched springplates in the rear and lowered 2 outer splines.

Powered by an 25hp engine (split beetle engine)

Restauration thread on a dutch forum: http://www.volksforum.com/forum/show...1&page=1&pp=20

    Pics!

The front is recently lowered about an inch more Stance is way better now!
    More recent pictures to come!

    Cheers
