  • Dealing with Copyright

    Hello @ all,

I have a general question according to copyright within the stanceworks community.
    Whats your general attitude?

Is it OK to use pictures WITH WATERMARK and SOURCE in private Blogs to show them friends and other interested. Because there are so much pictures inside of stanceworks, which are really worth seeing.

So, what do you think? From my point of view it is OK to use my photos, but there must be a link to the author!

    So, whats your opinion?

I don't mind anyone posting my pictures as long as they don't cut out the watermark, or if they do, link it to the original / flickr / thread.

Think that is the general consensus too unless it is more of a professional shoot.

People post pictures on the internet for one reason imo. To be shared. As long as you're not trying to claim they're yours I don't see a problem. Link to blog?

For my website http://fiesta-customs.de I sometimes like to show interesting pictures to my users.

I asked about the topic because I saw at Facebook that there was a intellectual theft of an MaydayGarage picture...
