  • Car-RIG photography

I don't know if anyone her has a car rig or not, but I tought I start this thread to see it. Mine got the first test yesterday, I have to work and spend a little more on it, but I think these pics are not that bad for a first time.

unedited for those, who don't know what a car-rig is

I hope there'll be some response to the pics, and some of you post your rig shots too.

soon I'll have the chance to use this on some more attractive cars, but I didn't want to test it on some pricey stuff my girlfriends golf just made the thing

Would you mind listing what kind of parts you used to put your rig together? I want to build one this spring and don't know what to buy

            2x Avenger F1000 Suction Cup
            3x Manfrotto SuperClamp
1x Manfrotto Ballhead (most of the people use Manfrotto Magic Arm, wich is much more easy to handle, and has way more options, but it's quite expensive)
15ft metal pole (I'll change this to aluminium as soon as I can, 'cause metal weights way too much, and causes a lot of shake)

You may also need an ND filter if you'd like to shoot outdoor in daylight.

            hope this helped

take a look around in this thread, all my knowledge comes from here http://photography-on-the.net/forum/...90505&page=323

I don't get why, they all did get the info from somewhere...someone shared the info with them, why can't they give it to another person...it's a silly thing I think

good luck with your rig, let me know if I can help anything else

I use to work for the company. Took care of all orders and assembly of the rigs. Yes they are a bit pricey but well worth it. Make editing the rig out of the shots very easy.
