20mm 2.8 is priced at 489 (before shipping and all that tax)
28mm 1.8 is priced at $429 (before shipipng and all that tax)
so....8mm wider is a $60 difference, but I lose a few stops - I love f/2.8 on the full frame anyways so Im now leaning more towards that advantage. dammit decisions suck.
do any of you all have any experience with either of these lenses or both? I can always just rent both out for a few days to help make my decision. but would like some input from people that actually use this for automotive work like i'll be doing. I dont do much landscape. I just want something wide so i can get close and possibly use for my rig. Ive shot with a 100mm 2.8 macro that i used as a telephoto lol and the contrast colors on that lens were amazing, a bit richer than my 50 1.4. So how would you compare the 2 lenses?
