Sticky Pod Help....

I am looking into getting a sticky pod for taking car videos and wanted to know if anyone had any thoughts/experience with this product before I trust my 7d on it.

Never used one. But thats quite the dinero for a car mount. I saw this on DIYphoto, It docent give you the same look but its gives you the same product.

I kinda figured that it would be better to spend the money to be sure but I'll have to try it out, my only fear is my camera falling off which would be terrible.
