Thanks, my grandparents live in Toronto (Etobicoke) and I go to see them every year. I go up to the Galway-Cavendish Rally every year, have you heard of it/been to it? Next time I go up I hope to bring lights and other equipment to shoot some of the cars at night, lmk if you wanna do a shoot.

Were you using a tripod on the first night shots? They look very under exposed, a solution to not using a tripod could be a speedlite, or if you have a built in flash on your camera. With the tripod you will be able to set longer shutter speeds and not have camera shake, a speedlite will let you take some shots with a faster shutter speed at night but you will need to be closer to the subject.

IMO a tripod would be the solution, setting a longer shutter speed, and upping the f/stop to 8-10.

Your shots get better as the thread progresses, one other thing i would recommend is stepping back from the shot with the 3 cars so you get more of them in the image. Unless you intended for that look in the image.

Thanks, I didn't have my Manfrotto tripod with me, or my speedlite so I was forced to underexpose them.
