First time ever playing around with HDR pics.

Took the 33 down to a local underground car park that still had lights on and came up with this.

    _pregamma_1_fattal_alpha_0.1_beta_0.8_saturation_1 _noiseredux_0.037

    _pregamma_1_fattal_alpha_0.1_beta_0.8_saturation_1 _noiseredux_0.046

    _pregamma_0.758_fattal_alpha_0.159_beta_0.839_satu ration_1.03_noiseredux_0.064

    _pregamma_0.788_fattal_alpha_0.1_beta_0.8_saturati on_1_noiseredux_0.055

I guess they look alright but I'm still not totally sure what I'm doing.

needs contrast. parking garages are good for pictures because they're dark, grungy places with exposed pipe and interesting backgrounds and textures. If you remove all the shadows it loses the mood.

I've never been a fan of HDR. The last shot is pretty good though.

What program are you using? If you have the ability to control the gamma, white and black point, just play with the settings. This is an HDR I made in Photomatix, just playing around with adjustments.

Thanks man. I see what you mean

i used luminance HDR to make them.

I think the problem was my over exposed shot was too bright but im not sure.

edit I just followed everything in this tut http://www.eos550d.com/2010/05/creating-simple-hdr/
