  • New to thread; My pictures

    New to the thread. Hope to grow and learn more about car photography.

    Here are some of my photos:

    -Canon 7D
    -Tokina 16.5 - 135

    I'm not sure I like the HDR style when photographing cars, but good work, keep it up get better subjects.

      Pretty good photos. But i have to agree, HDR just makes stuff look cartoonish and dumb

        I like it....what aperture is your 70-200?

                I read that the 7d had soft focus issues and that a hard reset will fix this because the AF is slightly off.

                I did the hard reset and now the AF is quicker and no more soft focus, normally I would agree with you because you're my favorite photographer on SW but after reading countless articles about this I tried it myself and it worked.

                  The IS is just money you don't need to waste. I have the lens with out IS and don't have any focus problems when zoomed. I might try that hard reset too.
