  • through the lens of a ratmog

Just a selection. I'm really not a fan of post-processing other than adjusting my exposure/colour. I use a Canon 1000D with either a 18-55 lens or a 70-300 lens. Depending on what I plan to shoot. I'm after a fisheye, but we can all dream, right?

So without further ado, some of my photos:

    more to come.

If you had the whole car in #2, would really have been a fantastic capture.

I'll have to go up there when it stops raining and re-shoot - its such a steep hill its an achievement for the car! Also wait for a quiet time, as its almost a main road 5 steps backwards. (:

      A sunset from the summer.

I've had such a peculiar evening. This is an annual Welsh tradition, crashing headlong into an annual English one, it only happens in the small border town of Chepstow, where the Wassail (blessing of the cider trees) meets the Mari Lwyd (welcoming of the 'new year'). It should happen on the twelfth night, but it is more convenient and allows for more... alcohol if held on the nearest Saturday night.

I love the one of the dog, great composition

I like the concept of the one above it too, but its a little blurred.

                *edit*
i missed all the others above it.... you're damn good at photographing dogs (i felt the need to avoid saying 'doing' or 'shooting' there)

waiting on some more good weather to try and repeat that blurry cove shot, hopefully tonight's sunset will be nice. damn swansea. all we get is rain.

as for dogs, I have a load more photographs of dogs.. I swear its all I instinctively shoot. there's something about the way you can kindof get them to do what you want, but the dog will always have its own ideas. cats i find very hard. i find horses similar to dogs.

                  have another dog:

and some more... and a horse (the horse one and the one of the jack russell with the pink collar were taken on a point n shoot finepix)
