Video Editing Software?

Looking to get into shoot video (im a photographer.)
and i dont know anything about editing so i was wondering which programs are easy to use.
i use window7 64bit

Sony Vegas. Its easy to use, and as you get better you can do some pretty advanced stuff with it.

iMovie, and just recently, Final Cut Pro.

so am i right to assume that just starting off with video editing, iMovie is good enought? I dont need to get Final Cut or Permier? or anyhting like that?

Depends on how deep you want to go, but yes, especially if you are just a beginner to editing iMovie is good.
