  • Favorite Spot, New lenses

Hey guys, got a couple new lenses this weekend and went out for a shoot. Here's what I got.

My telephoto lens keeps producing these kinds of images. With color bands or something... What am I doing wrong?

I wish I had more space on my flickr account. I would buy the 1 year thing, but don't want to spend $25 right now. So facebook quality will have to do.

      Damn Trolls.

The second pic and the last one seem to be blured due to vibration, You shooting with a tipod? If so, are you setting the timer to take the pics? Or are you still pushing the button?

What are the new lenses? I take it that wide angle/fisheye is an add-on lens from ebay or the like?

Telephoto looks like it is just a bad copy, got some serious fringing issues.

Screw on's. One is a .35x semi fisheye by opteka, and the other it a "Digital Concepts" 3.6x telephoto lens.
That's too bad about the telephoto. Maybe I'll return it and buy a better quality one.
I didn't use my tripod yesterday, so that's why it's probably blurry. Wah waah.

the problem is that they are screw on lenses.. they are poor quality glass. colour fringing is what you have on the "telephoto"..

                Welp, that certainly sucks.
Thank god they were of no cost to me. Birthday gifts.

Again, they were a gift, so I had no idea what quality the lenses were.
I would not pay for these lenses after doing some research on them.

Pics don't look to bad... But again I'm on my phone so they are tiny... Only tips I can give- when using the fish eye try to zoom in some more or PS the black outline out if you can.. It's distracting. Also try not to cut off the end of the car if your taking a full shot of it. I like the dead flower shot...
