HD video Camera? which One?

Hey,
I need your help. My old HD video camera is dead and need a new one. Ive been out of the video game and more into the camera game for the past few years. So the question is what is a good HD video camera or what do you guys shoot with? price isnt a problem just want to get something good.

Canon 7D, best of both worlds, or if you can afford it a 5D Mark II. DSLR HD video is really the way of the future, and is cheaper from the aspect of lenses and what you can do.

But if you just want a camcorder, then I have no idea haha.

Both look great. Id love a 7d but cant justify another camera....and the second camera is sick and more professional. Thanks for you input.

Well how much are you looking to spend, because I think for the price you will find that DSLR with video is more quality for the price, and you will also find that they are more flexible.

I wouldn't buy the HVX. Its been out for quite a while and is on the ends of its ropes. The 5D MkII would be the best of both worlds. The full Frame sensor is really worth extra money. You can pick one up used for quite cheap. If your looking for straight filming verus photo, then I can direct you toward some other cameras. Let me know.
