Same stanced cars getting features all the time

Hmm, while skimming through it i read a lot of posts saying "i didnt read the whole thing but..." so this is another one of those.

I get your frustration, its not that I want a feature, but everyone wants people to appreciate their work, I just could really give a fuck if anyone features it. I dont care what other peoples opinions on my car is, I dont even care to post it up most of the time. If you search me there's hardly an started threads. I'm not saying i have the best stance by any means, but its pretty damn good, I'm extremely happy with how the car sits, but I can take a step back and look at it and i know its missing some character. The really badass cars that i see posted have a character about them. Sometimes its the photography, because when i see the car in person im not that impressed, but sometimes its just the car.

That being said, i really really think your car needs some kind of aftermarket bumper or the mtech kit. Regardless of how many people have it, its a good looking kit and really benefits the lines of the e60 (i happen to like the e60 so shut your mouths about it being ugly ) I dont know what else is available but if there are other options I'd explore them. I also think your car doesnt have enough camber and it looks high (regardless of it being so or not), and i think the fitment could be improved. I dont like the carbon parts, regardless of rarity. I think it takes away from the classy look and I'm not a fan of the finish of the wheels. I still think your car is sick, but those little niggles i have keep me from personally falling in love with it. I don't doubt you built the car for yourself, so I'm not even going to suggest that you want e-fame or anything like that. If it was mine I'd sell the carbon parts, buy kit, space out and camber and it and polish the wheels. Who am i to speak though i havent been featured

Your car looks cheap as shit with the carbon fiber and lack of any kind of lip/sideskirt. "Everybody" does the M-Tech kit because everyone knows what looks good except you. You try to be different but your end result looks like crap.

Go whore your car out on bimmerforums or something and maybe you can get a feature there. Or, start your own blog where you feature cars that have thousands into them and look worse than stock.

Just because you can throw money at a car doesn't mean that its going to be a car worth looking at. I love how everytime you say that you aren't trying to do this to be e-famous, and that you are doing it for yourself, you go and say how much you spent on your car, and that DPE made you sign a waiver (which is complete BS by the way). No one gives a flying fuck how much money you dropped into the car, I doubt you even do your own work they way you are talking. Those "same" cars you keep getting features, are featured because of the amount of work that went into the car, to get it to where it is, not how much money was spent on it.

You are in the wrong game if you want to brag about how much money you have to spend, because quite frankly no one here gives a shit.

jesus. Suck it up dude, i have an e30, a pretty common car you see in features, but you wont find a feature on here of my car, nor will you find a whining thread about it.


Your car looks, and from this thread, sounds, like one of those do everything to be different, but ignoring how the car flows which IMO is a huge part of stanced cars.


Some more contrast, your spendy CF bits dont do a bit of good when they dont flow with the car, and the lack of lip just makes the car look wierd.

Regardless of you signing a waiver or hoping they would fit...this is a common problem for many other people who might not want to blow thousands on a set of wheels. You could own a VW and buy some reps that might not clear your brakes. Same thing happened to a friend of mine with an A4...he bought some Equips that had awesome offsets, but wouldn't clear his new brake setup.

Stop whining. Your car is nice, no doubt about it. But I'll be honest, it's nothing to "ooooo and ahhhh" over.

You can spend as much money on a car as you'd like. It doesn't mean that it will look good when it's all thrown together. You need to look at the overall package, not just the individual pieces.

Apparently a lot of people on here are simply ignoring what im saying and just keep saying that I threw money into it and no soul

ive had this car for almost 3 years and have had it go through many stages and changes

I still think that most places that are featuring cars are showing off the same damn kind of cars and hellaflush.com is a perfect example of that
