Same stanced cars getting features all the time

Read my post again. I didn't shit on him, I clearly stated NO OFFENSE and said to focus more on building his car for him then to get it featured. I also stated that his car was clean, just not all that different.

I'm a member of Liberty VIP because I am friends with several members, support the cause, and am in the process of building my take on a VIP car. I'm not defending myself because your opinion doesn't hold enough value for me to bother just trying to figure out exactly what your point here is. Yes I represent my club in my signature. If there is a problem with that it can be taken to PM or Email. I'd love to know what your issue with Liberty is because I'm starting to get a feeling this is personal.

As for a personal problem with your club where did I say you guys are douchebags. I used a club affiliation for the point i was trying to make about your car. dont see where I said I have any issues with it. However if it's going to get mad heated up in here im going to beg for your forgiveness as I certainly don't want any real world altercations to start. internet fun cars arent fun cars but serious business.

As for my shitting on cars comment, that was more of a broad generalization toward many members attitudes here regarding this thread. I just love when people are hypocritical about their opinions. Again, this isnt all about you, as a fyi

As for why I wouldn't consider your car vip. You didn't say it was vip, however your show plate, club association and website don't need you to verbalize it. I'll just use this forums favorite word. stance. If you can tell him why his car is or isnt something based on outward appearances I certainly can do the same. Plus I **** those Schmidt's.

Assuming that was targeted toward me since the OP didn't mention anything about VIP. I don't recall claiming my car was a VIP car.
And what makes a VIP car? Please say VIP Curtains and jewel plated shift knobs. PLEASE! I'd love to hear your definition. And don't quote a post off of VSC defining it because i'll know.

The second you stop building a car to get featured and start building it for your own personal enjoyment you'll notice a difference. I've been modifying cars for over seven years. Two of my builds (my current and my previous) had "different" body modifications, custom interiors, rare wheels, proper fitment, and individuality. Neither ever got featured on anything other then my clubs blog. This hasn't stopped me or phased me. When I was younger it was a dream of mine to get recognition but my cars sucked - today I consider my builds to be original and look good but I don't do it for the recognition. I do it because its an addictive hobby that I can't kick.

Obviously, like any car owner, I'd be excited to see the car featured now or in six months when it looks completely different but that doesn't mean it will.

I'm sure your going to tell me you don't care about the feature and you do build the car for yourself but I find that hard to believe with you making threads like these and having a relatively cookie cutter car (really don't mean to offend you man its clean but its not that different).

Cliff Notes: Focus on the car not getting it featured. You'll probably start enjoying life/your money much more.

Just because you can throw money at a car doesn't mean that its going to be a car worth looking at. I love how everytime you say that you aren't trying to do this to be e-famous, and that you are doing it for yourself, you go and say how much you spent on your car, and that DPE made you sign a waiver (which is complete BS by the way). No one gives a flying fuck how much money you dropped into the car, I doubt you even do your own work they way you are talking. Those "same" cars you keep getting features, are featured because of the amount of work that went into the car, to get it to where it is, not how much money was spent on it.

You are in the wrong game if you want to brag about how much money you have to spend, because quite frankly no one here gives a shit.

Hmm, while skimming through it i read a lot of posts saying "i didnt read the whole thing but..." so this is another one of those.

I get your frustration, its not that I want a feature, but everyone wants people to appreciate their work, I just could really give a fuck if anyone features it. I dont care what other peoples opinions on my car is, I dont even care to post it up most of the time. If you search me there's hardly an started threads. I'm not saying i have the best stance by any means, but its pretty damn good, I'm extremely happy with how the car sits, but I can take a step back and look at it and i know its missing some character. The really badass cars that i see posted have a character about them. Sometimes its the photography, because when i see the car in person im not that impressed, but sometimes its just the car.

That being said, i really really think your car needs some kind of aftermarket bumper or the mtech kit. Regardless of how many people have it, its a good looking kit and really benefits the lines of the e60 (i happen to like the e60 so shut your mouths about it being ugly ) I dont know what else is available but if there are other options I'd explore them. I also think your car doesnt have enough camber and it looks high (regardless of it being so or not), and i think the fitment could be improved. I dont like the carbon parts, regardless of rarity. I think it takes away from the classy look and I'm not a fan of the finish of the wheels. I still think your car is sick, but those little niggles i have keep me from personally falling in love with it. I don't doubt you built the car for yourself, so I'm not even going to suggest that you want e-fame or anything like that. If it was mine I'd sell the carbon parts, buy kit, space out and camber and it and polish the wheels. Who am i to speak though i havent been featured
