I'm jealous. Its such a great pistol at a decent price. That'll be my first 1911 hopefully.

            HK Mark 23 - .45
            Taurus PT1911 - .45
            Sig P238 - .380
            Walther P22
            Mossberg 500
Stag model 3 AR15 in 5.56 - Rails, front grip, scope and red dot depending on which I feel like using.

I have no kids and keep them all loaded in case of zombies or intruders. I CC the .380 most often since it's small, but use the 1911 on occasion.

I was an Army guy for a while and got discharged, so I spent a lot of time around m4's. Really fun weapon. That AR15 must be a blast!

Not to offend anyone, I honestly dont know much about weapons, but I have a decent grasp on their varied use... I just find it funny when people say they got xx pistol because it is super accurate for home protection... But it is only as accurate as the person shooting it. Being woken up in the middle of the night out of a dead sleep, scrambling to grab and load your pistol then finding the threat in the dark of your room or hallway and laying a precise shot isnt that easy.. Plus, half of the people who pick up a handgun for home protection end up getting ahold of something that will demolish the cunt breaking in, etc and also put a hole through your wall and into your roommate or kids room...

When I got back home, first thing I did was buy a 12 guage with some buckshot. All I need to do is blast a shot down the hallway and whoever is in the hall is going to be hurting. Granted I might need some plaster and paint for the walls but it is just as easy for another house member to pick it up and put it to use in an emergency as well.

I want to pick up a HK45 Compact for something to carry and take to the range. I fell in love with the HKs a long ways back. Where I live (Rhode Island) a concealed carry permit is next to impossible and we are pretty strict on guy use here, yet 2 of the "old timers" from my local cigar shop got themselves grandfathered in. One carries a 45 Compact and the other a snubnose 357. It is always funny to hear them set their jackets down on the hard shop ground and hear that clunk and see peoples faces as they try and figure out what the 65yr old dude has in his 80s jumpsuit jacket lol

Yes, I do love my AR. I try and go shooting as often as possible, and I always take it with me. After that, I'd have to say the Mark 23. I used to also have a Springfield XD45 compact and S&W 9mm, neither of which I could really get used to, so I sold them.

Next on my list would have to be a Glock 17. I don't really care for Glocks, but a friend of mine has one that I fired last time we were at the range and I loved it.

I own a few toys in the firearm department.

Ruger 10-22 - All Tapco stock and gear. Very tactical looking
Masterpiece Arms Mac9 - Legal, Semi Auto
Taurus Judge - 45/.410 Revolver. Fun as hell.
Walther P22 - Love to take it to the range for recreation because of it's cheap ammo
Kimber ProCarry Custom CDPII - A 1911 that is by far my most prized weapon. Shoots beautifully, looks beautiful.
AK-47 - Old, Crappy finish. Obviously legal, semi-auto. It's been abused and I can't wait to get it back to a presentable fun shooting rifle.

That's about it. My whole family collects guns, as we have a range on family property. It's fun to shoot and practice the sport of shooting.
