  • Terrible accident from this weekend in Germany.

Well this past weekend we lost two people from the base I'm stationed at...Really is to bad the girl in the back seat had only been on station for about 3 weeks. And someone had to call her parents to inform them their daughter had been killed in a vehicle accident.

I can't speculate on what was going on but I know this for sure. He was hauling ass.

The car was a Red E46 M3 with black wheels. I had seen it driving around and parked on base the thing was super clean.

Apparently this weekend he was on the autobahn (same road I take every day to go home) and lost control hitting the guardrail and flipping the car several tiems. Both passengers front and back were killed immediately but the driver is still alive and in critical condition...Anyway here are some pictures of the accident.

Really sad to lose 2 of our military members and I can't imagine how horrible that was for their parents to recieve that call and to be so far away and not be able to help.

Anyway I guess take this as a reminder to watch your speed and if your going to drive like an ass (not saying he was) than don't do it with people in your car. I dont want to even imagine how many problems this guy is going to be dealing with for the rest of his life.

Reality checks are tough... everyone take a moment to remember how blessed you are to have breath of life... something we take for granted every day. Prayers going out to their families.

Damn i am sorry for there families. and prayers for the driver. I was stationed in germany for many yrs and it aways sucked to lose someone.

But looking at the pictures, it looks like they were driving on a B bahn not the Autobahn. If so there r speed limits. So i hope everything works out for the driver.

Damn, sad to hear this. Another reminder that the Autobahn is a dangerous place sometimes.

Nah, look at the last pic, you can see the middle barrier and the other two lanes on the other side. Looks like an Autobahn for sure.

well from the plate it looks to be in the bitburg area. so i guess it could be A60.

I guess I could have given more information..It is the A60 between Badem and Bitburg the same road I take home every day. There is a huge downhill portion where speeds can get rediculous and a sharper than it looks curve to the right. I believe that is where the accident occured from what I could tell.

when i herd about this accident and the car involved I was just sad. I knew it was going to be after that downhill streatch right after the badem exit, I used to get my M5 up to insane speeds on that hill when i lived out in that area. So sad the owner only had that car for maybe 3 weeks

                          Damn RIP!

I still find it amazing that in so many of these types of accidents that the driver survives while the passengers pass away, some messed up shit.

Not sure man...we had the memorial for the girl that died in the accident today...She was no older than 18 or 19 years old...The memorial service for the guy (same age) is on Monday...Both of them brand new to the military and their life hadn't even really started yet...The guy who was driving is still in the hospital in serious condition.
