So I havent been online much the last couple weeks. I had finals at school and the stress from my upcoming "surgery."
So after months of talking about it, last sunday was the day I got my tongue split
Shitsux for real. Mad painful, mad swollen, bruised, can't talk, can't eat, but at least it looks cool and I know it'll all be worth it in the end.
Since I know people are gonna ask, I did this because I wanted it. I like it. I think it looks good. Tongue splitting is just another way of shaping your own personal image to the way you want it to be. This is no different than a nose job or a face lift (which are referred to in society as "cosmetic procedure," which is just a glorified way of saying "body modification")
Just so everybody knows, tattoos and piercings are nothing new to me. I started working on my body suit about 5 years ago and the few piercings have (pierced my ears at 0ga, stretching my septum) are the only ones I want. This was my first "heavy" mod, and will most likely be my last. One day I might decide I want an implant or something, but not for a good long while.
