There's a tiny drag strip called 75-80 in the middle of a field that my friends and I go to ever Friday. Where I live, were pretty much surrounded by diesel pickups with stacks and supercharged domestics and what not. So it was quite the breath of fresh air to see this guy running yesterday 

I didn't get to take any more pictures, even with my phone (crappy as they are), because the owner was kind of a douche. I got all excited that this comparatively small e30 was there running with "the big boys" and almost giggled with excitement and this guy looked at me like I was a mental case. He wouldn't really tell me anything about the car, but I got a brief look under the hood and saw that it was boosted.

The guy was running in the test-and-tune class that day, so he wasn't competing for anything, but he KILLED that Camaro. 10.4 in the quarter mile. I wish I had snapped a picture of his burnout...
Just what I thought was a cool example of a very functional e30.
