    So check this out....

My school is accusing me of stealing a video camera because one went missing during my videography class last week. The teacher is a fuckin redneck and I know I'm only getting blamed cause of the way I look (covered in tattoos, large gauge ears) and the car I drive (slammed, poked, and loud MINI Cooper)

I was parked where the class was working so we could listen to music, and when we started to pack up, I moved my car back over the the school. A few days later everybody in my class is getting phone calls from the school asking about "The suspicious, blue, sports car." Later on I found out that my teacher described my car to his other classes and straight up pinned the whole thing on me.

I talked to the teacher face to face today and I got the vibe from him that he still thinks I did it. He said that if the camera isnt returned by 10pm tomorrow that the school is filing a police report. He also told me that he has the whole thing on camera cause the hotel next door has a security camera facing where we were.

So basically, if something goes missing, blame the kid with tattoos and the low car. I'm gonna go talk to the dean tomorrow before I go to this class. Today I had like 5 people come up to me and ask me if I stole the camera. EVERYBODY at the school thinks Im some sort of thief now.

Anybody else ever have something like this happen because of their car?

and BTW the school is THE ART INSTITUTE OF FT. LAUDERDALE. If you're thinking about going there, DONT, nothing but problems. I've been there since 06 and shit like this always happens. Terrible school.

Well I don't get stereotyping for my car nearly as much as I do for my race, and there really is nothing I can do about it. I get blamed for things all the time or I get harsher punishments that others for the same thing. I really have no other way to deal with it other than just trying my best to avoid the wrong crowd and trying to be in the right places.

Back to your issue, If it is all on camera then there really is no issue because the video will show that you didn't take it, which will prove your asshole professor wrong, and when you are proved innocent, I would slam that in his face.

    BUT that's just me hahah.

^^Thats exactly what I wanna do. I wanna prove him wrong and make him look like an ass. It still doesnt change the fact that alot of people think Im a thief now.

Im pissed cause I dont even wanna stay in the class now. Imagine how this will affect my grade. Thats why Im going to the dean

dude, that sucks i really hope everything turns out okay..

in response to your question, nothing REALLY like that..
but whenever the administrators from my school (high school) hear tire sqeals/burnouts, they immediately go to the student parking lot and try to find out who did it. Earlier this year, i got almost got suspended by the new vice-prinicipal, but thank goodness i knew the principal pretty well and she was like "sophia wouldn't do that" (i really wouldn't). my fault for having the only modded car?

and i remember that VP saying something like... "your car looks like a mob car"

Like Prodigee said, the video will prove you innocent then you can say whatever you want to your teacher. Actions speak louder than words man.

They're clearly pointing fingers at you because your car was the closest to the "scene of the crime". Wether or not you stole it or not, your car (and you?) were at the place. This is why your getting blamed for it. I would talk to the dean and try to clear your name. They're going to look at the hotel camera either way probably. So I guess just ride it out until your proven innocent. Thats all you basically can do.

That being said, I also use to have 1/2in gauges and look like a "trouble maker". Everywhere I went people basically watched me. It sucked, but I just said fuck em.

Im in the photography program there. The photo department is great, and the teachers are awesome but its almost not worth the headache because the school is run so badly.

I get that stuff alot too. People always think Im some sort of ricer because my car is low. I get pulled over pretty often now too, and before my car was on coils I had never been pulled over in my life.

Basically I have to say this on the matter of gauges.

                  ****** gunna ****.

Personally on the right people they can look fucking sick, and on others its kind of a "What the fuck were you thinking" type deal, it can be hit or miss.

There was at least 10 other cars parked around us. They're just picking on mine because it stands out and I look like a "troublemaker"

You'd think that, of all places, Id fit in at art school looking the way I do. I really dont care what people think about how I look. I get asked the same questions every day about my tattoos, especially the ones on my hands (and people always think they were the first to ask lol.) Im just really pissed the teacher put me on blast like he did.

I don't think I will ever get ink. I know I will have ear piercings of some sort though.

I've been pulled over in my car and searched for dugs/weapons more often than i like to admit. I'm sure the guages dont help when they get to the window.
