got a new bike today!!
not a fixie but im considering turning it into one. gotta take car of some maintenance stuff first.
-handlebar grip tape
-pedals (probably cranks too)
-wheels (bent the rear one within the first 10 min of riding it)
-tires/tubes
idk what else needs to be done, gotta take it all apart this weekend and clean it up
anyone know where i can find some cool handlebars? i would like to find some kinda like these-
i also wanna find a cool seat. the one thats on it is pretty comfortable but is really fuckin big and cheesy lookin
this will be my first road bike to restore. its a Free Spirit FS12 i think from the 70's. not exactly the best of bike but i thought that it would be a good place to start and plus i think i got a decent price on it for the condition its in. rode very well for around 10 min til i bent the rear wheel lol
anyone that knows any sites to find cool gear post up the links!

i literally have 10 of these sitting in a shed out at my shop. Ive been meaning to fix them up. most arent fixies but old road bikes. Tons of oldschool bmx's too.
the one shed is just parts, 1 shelf full of rims, Other full of bars and forks, another cranks, and another frames. I should start restoring them for extra cash.Originally posted by Jesus Christhe mustve enjoyed that bj.
i know for a fact you chubby bitches could suck the air bubbles out of a brake line

Those handlebars are called risers. goto benscycles.net or amazon.

Yeah Phas3d is right those are risers, check out those sites or craigslist or go to your local bike shop and asked for some take off risers, they usually sell them as low as $5 bucks. Saddles you kind of just break in and they mold to your butt, but I've had Turbo saddles before and those are always comfy so I'd recommend those since the reissues are a decent price. Post pics once you change it up!
