You guys have some sick look'n bikes in here! I've had my interest in fixed gear bikes for a little bit but i commute and ride/race my Trek. Its just your standard 16spd road bike.

Keep posting pics of your fixie's though...they are sexy! haha

That's how a lot of people build their fixed gears, with old bikes...

i realize the bikes are very expensive but the frames look like something someone took out of their grand parents garage that had been up there since the 70's and slapped some expensive ass wheels and cranks on them and changed nothing else about the bike

SeventhSkyline and Farkel have NICE bikes.

Anyway, I bought mine in January and it's fun as shit. I still can't quite trackstand right though, any tips would be appreciated. I need to spend more time on it.

I wouldn't want to commute on one. I work in downtown DC and I leave it at work to get around the city at lunchtime on nice days.

Here's my hipster-mobile. Just your average Raleigh Rush Hour with some Velocities. I don't usually like top tube pads, but my top tube is banged to shit and so I wanted to disguise it somehow.

I want to switch to drop bars.

This is a cool thread. I have a Kilo TT. Pretty standard entry level bike, but I have a good time riding it.

Nothing hipsterish about my bike yet. Just standard black with some new pedals, clips, and straps.
