I like BF.c for two things: Wheel Classifieds (which have been extraordinarily weak lately), and most importantly the E24 6-Series room. The E24 room there is the most (only?) drama-free section of the site, with boatloads of information, and all of the people there are willing to help. There are no stupid questions in the E24 room, and that's the only part of the site I will defend.

Sounds like you are best buddies with some of the guys at bimmerforums? I am not on there so I can't comment on it but Honda-Tech from what I gather is very similiar. It is a forum full of conformists who if you don't do what they want you have the worst car ever, or if you ask a question that may not make sense to you because you're still learning and some douche comes along and says that you are a retard and doesn't actually help answer the question then yeah, I would be a little pissed. Sure its a forum on the internet, but common courtesy still applies and rather than being a complete ass and not helping someone or even giving them props for the work they put in, because it didn't fit your "norm" then don't post at all, and from what I have heard (not only from here might I add) bf.c, is a community just like that so really I can understand where these guys are coming from. And the fact that kevlar or whatever his name is just hands down bans for saying "LOL at 1700" seems extremely ridiculous. I am sorry but if your community can't accept that then there is something wrong.

No I was not interested in the wheels, and no, since I buy busted wheels fix them and sell wheels here locally, I do not try to overprice ever, why because Im a car enthusiast and try to be fair, also Im not wealthy to say the least and people are hurting here economically more that in the states so I try to work with people, im not getting rich of of this, I just do it because I like it, so I bothers me that some people try to overprice stuff because its a brand name and try to take advantage of others

Best buddies? Not really. I have discussed track photography with Kevlar before. I will say some of my best 'car friends' were met via bimmerforums. The forum helped me buy cheap mods. Learn about the E36 M3. It is a great forum with a lot of already posted information. The best classifieds section for BMW parts(e36 for sure) on the net. The vast majority of the 'experts' in given fields like FI, suspension, lights etc are all on that forum.

The issue is that there are many 'old' members and just like if we fast forward 5+ years on stanceworks... it is going to get old when people ask "What size tire for Style 5s on E36". It'll happen. And people will get made fun of for it.

It is what it is. I like the forum. Love it in fact. Lots of fun meets. Fun track days. Good guys/gals.

First of all, that is a really long sentence. And second you are totally right. You shouldn't go into For Sale threads when you have no interest in the product and shit on the thread.
