I was driving low for a while on coilovers. 4 threads left on the front and I took the adjusters out on the rear. I raised the front up a good bit go go up to college now. I didnt want to get fuckd 2 hours away from my house.

I took 2 people with me today and had to park in a underground parking garage with steep ramps. Parked on 3 floor, made it to the exit fine with lots of undercarriage scraping...
Got a bit stuck on the exit, though.
My passengers had to get out so I had enough clearance to get out with lots of scraping.
I love it.

so i just got this low today. my fenders are rubbing like crazy, gonna do a pull tomorrow.
rears arent done, nor are those the tires and wheels i will be keeping.
my exhaust and resonator (which is an inch off the ground or less) scrapes at every speed bump, driveway, road.. if its higher than 3 inches ill scrape. already left marks in my driveway.
while i was driving i thought to myself, this is great but what about the long run?
in terms of the coilovers giving out, replacing rods, bushing, and so on... and the over all stress the car is being put under.
my car is 27 years old and its suspension isnt made for it to ride this low. my friends are giving me shit for it, my dad is giving me shit for it, almost everyone is. hahaha
i just wanna know what everyone else thinks of the future consequences to the underbody and suspension. is it really worth it in the long run? im just a college kid with average income, to let you guys know where im coming from. so i wanna know what you guys think, i guess it will give me a peace of mind and justify me rolling this low.

To be honest, if it's a car that old and it's worth to keep it on the road, I'd rather go bags than coils to save the undercarriage of the car a bit, so you can raise it up for speedbumps and driveways and shit.
The stress on the bearings and stuff will get a bit bigger, but not all that much. I can honestly say that on the 3 cars I've owned so far (that were actually registered, that is) I haven't had any suspension part wear noticeably early because of the lowness.

It's not so much the fact that you're "telling the truth" as it's the fact that you come off like you're constantly trying to elevate yourself above others and make yourself look like the sun shines out of your arse.
May just be the way you write, though.
That's all I'll say on this matter, I'll keep the rest of my thoughts to myself as I don't want to start a flame war.
