Now it's looking like I may have to go with that one. I don't think anyone makes a 4-door E28, or ever has, for that matter

While the prices came very close to making me puke all over myself, I finally found a couple with the help of modelcarsmag.com. While I am very inexperienced with 1:18 and scale metalwork, I'm sure my metal fab skills will come in handy...
