What is the thing called on circular headlights that look like a crossbow? Usually mk1 and 2 have them on the low beams.

yes those first lights and the second smoked set are the same lights. ive had people on other forums tell me they are completely different sets of lights, and they are wrong. these are my stock euro Bosch smilies that i smoked with a set of $30 pre-made crosshars and some SEM 39143 trim paint.
on my bronzit car:

the halo looking effect on the lights was the clear silicone i used to seal the lights(what the DIY reccomends). DONT use that, i had to take mine apart a 3rd time just to do black silicone, which is whats on the pic of my bronzit.

Been thinking about doing this to mine, but I cant decide. I've got a lot of contrast going on with my car, I don't know if I want to match it or loose some of it.
Thoughts?
