I knew a guy who swore up and down that his '02 Dodge Ram was carbureted. He literally got in it and pumped the throttle 5-10 times before starting it in the winter. And when it didn't start, he said it was flooded.

Turns out his truck just had a million miles on it and was never maintained.

My dad used to work as a ford mechanic he tells me how bad those tauruses are. One left my cousin and his friends stranded on a roadtrip two states away. Torque converter fucked him over and he junked it.

This girl at work was talking with a coworker about how her car was blowing white smoke out of the hood but when she checked the oil it was fine. She also said the temp was full hot but no heat. He said oh its your thermostat. She later asked me to look at it. The top of the radiator looked like a cherry bomb was dropped in. Yeah that's your thermostat..............
