Fail for Winning Best Static Stance

I went to a car show / drifting this week. The event was called InMotion run by NWmotiv.
They voted this 1987 Toyota Corolla GT-S "picture below" the Best Static Stance "picture below". I heard it did alot of fender work to fit those wheels but there is still 3/4"in gap between the wheel and fender.

If it was called: Best Static=Maybe
Best Stance=No
Best Static Stance=No

That 86 looks pretty damn good to me.

Stance isn't about how low the car is or having the tires rub on guards, it is about the overall car as a package. That 86 has the perfect "stance" for what it looks to be built for, judging by the cage, harness and etc.

I disagree. I think that car's overall stance looks great.

I think too many incompetent people people are unaware of the fact that every single car in the world has a difference stance- "stance" isn't an exclusive term to cars that are slammed with fractions of an inch of wheel/tire to fender clearance.
