  • STANCE/WORKS: The Magazine?

    Thought I'd pop this up...

I think it would be absolutely amazing if Stanceworks was to publish their own magazine.

I think I speak for a lot when I say when picking up any of the car magazines we have available the content inside won't scratch the stance itch like we always want.

    Any thoughts, input?

I'd vote against it. With the prevelence of social media like facebook, instagram and twitter, the mag would be out of date by the time it made it out.

I just always am picking up PBMW or PVW...

PVW is closer to what I always want to see but with being a BMW owner PBMW is really not of much interest (features on the newest released vehicles, rarely anything stanced...)

            Yup.

Would you pay to see the same cars you see on here for free? Do you think anyone in the social media loop will?

I can see why it may appear to be a good idea, but I have a feeling the cost would greatly outweigh the profit.

Already touched on this 3 years ago....

My 2 cents? Reading the main page is as good as a magazine.

no to a magazine but a nice illustrated book once a year with a nice selection of the featured cars and shows might be nice...yeah you can have it for free here but it would be nice to have something to hold in the hand and browse...and each edition should have to have a nice leather cover...this would fit nicely into the lg...

It's already been said, but it's getting harder and harder to get people to buy magazines/newspapers because everything is online. I'm all for supporting S|W, I doubt people would go to the store when you could read the same material online, for free. It's a no brainer.

I like the idea of a book once a year though - a review of features/favorite events etc etc

Yea a yearly review magazine/book could be good.

Something similar to the Speedhunters photography book perhaps?

Hatchbacks, wagons... It's NOT all the same. You want in? Don't get a mazda 3, get a mazda 6 wagon. Don't get a wrx get a legacy wagon. and theres a reason the A3 isn't called the A3 avant... Scion does not make a wagon it makes a weird van, but no wagons

                        Sincerely,

I dunno about you, but I get tired of seeing BMWs and VWs all the time.

                            I'd buy it every year.
