a lot of these trade school professions are becoming harder to apply for.

i paid $300 for my trade school and got my California Pharmacy Tech License, right before i finished my pharmacy tech school all the jobs i looked at required 1 year experience, took me a cool min to find a job that will take me fresh, then talked to some coworkers who were also new pharmacy tech grads, they said they paid $10,000-$15,000 for school and that now all pharmacies are looking for people with 2-3 years under the belt... so trade schools can rip you off then send you job hunting into a inflated market where no one wants new grads and require 2-3 years experience.

not sure how it is out there in PA, i actually just got back from visiting family in Philly, but i was just kicking it there not looking for jobs, but i might consider moving to Philly from LA for a few years if i can find a good job in the medical/laboratory field, everything out there is so much cheaper... cars, houses and just living in general there is cheaper and "simpler" and the white girls seem to be more cute then what i am used to seeing here in LA.

That's the problem with Pittsburgh. If you're in the medical field, you're set. This city is so strong with medicine and medical facilities. If you're not in the medical field, you must look a little harder.

Teachers get paid decent in PA. Start at roughly $40k, end at $80-$100k. Just depends on the school district. Affluent suburbs are the best, but 4 of my friends that I went to school with for Tech Ed moved to Annapolis, MD and are making similar figures.
