I've had a number of people tell me they or someone they knew had a 6er in the 80s.

I usually get people pointing with a disgusted look on their faces, people stop me to tell me my tie rods are broken, my wheels going to fall off, or the wtf/omg face. I love when I rip up a road reflector and the people behind me give me the finger, lol.

lot of people ask why i lowered a truck.
all my friends who ride with me ask me if the that noise (tire rubbing inner fender) is bad on dips

on the road i get plenty people trying to wave me down saying my car is broken in the rear due to the camber, I just smile and wave and mouth thank you. lol

Honda kids are always "Damn that shits clean as fuck I'd drive that" People normally get neck damage when I go over anything that scrapes. People also break their neck when they see a C notch and a cut out bed floor with no bags.
