I see a lotta cool low V's on this site and I'm about to drop my 940. I was wondering what is the most common setup to use when I do this. Currently I have a V70 T5 Turbo that's dropped on H&R's/Bilsteins all around and it dropped perfect with no rake. But I wwant some "rake" on my 940 so Should I do the same setup for my 940 or should I cut a coil off the front? or should I go with coilovers up front/H&R's in the back?
Here's an idea of where I'm tryna go with my 940, eventhough this is a 240
hahaha...love the replies. I can tell whose pissed at their "ride" already...lemme guess you're already thinking about selling that shit soon...lipstick on a pig...lol
and to the guy who threw out the price of $1800 for everything, that's bullshit and you know it. oh and yes I do all my own work.
no oxymoron at all. If I was told to cut, guess what, I would sell the car...that's why I asked. fucksnot...lol..but now that I found out it can be done the RIGHT WAY...I'm keepin' it and I will be shitting on every single stanced Volvo on this site when I'm done. stay tuned.
Will do, sir. Soon as I have all my parts ordered. I will go from start to finish.
I might just start the build thread the way it looks now but it's straight stock too "grandma-ish" and not looking like shit right now but a plain jane daily driver.
