I can understand not letting salt rape expensive wheels, but raising a car because of winter is lame. Honestly, most people don't drive on roads with a lot of snow, at most there is like 1-2" unless its during a storm and the plows aren't out.

Worst part is dodging ice chunks falling off of car wheel wells.

I would swap wheels purely because taking good summer tires off wheels to put snows on and then switch back in the spring is a pain. But fuck raising the car and also fuck not having fitment in the winter, that also makes no sense to me. Like fuck get some cheap wheels for the winter and still have fitment, stretch a 205/45 on a 8.5 or whatever, boom narrow track for snow, but still wide enough to look kinda decent from behind. I don't get it at all.
