It ain't much, but a cousin of mine does it as a side gig.

Started out with helping a few friend's with their sites for free, but now he also helps sites try to get on the first page of Google and/or the #1 spot for the local area their business is in etc.

Idk too much about it, but it's somewhere along the lines of if he's involved in perhaps a sponsor on the side that you see on Google, he gets X amount per click.

Everyone can do to an extent. I mean basically anyone can make a basic site, but to do anything quality and worth money, time to call in an expert. Those guys however, are hard to find.
