I don't doubt it, I've seen some real losers join the military for all the wrong reasons. I only have a couple friends in the armed forces that I genuinely respect. One of them is on his 7th year, and the other received a purple heart after an IED(?) Blew up his hummer and killed everyone but him.

Nice, most of the people I work with are pretty cool\hard workers

Most of the people I know that enlisted did it because they were too stupid for college and too lazy to get a real job. I've thought about going in as an officer after school, but I don't think I'm fit for ocs.

I only personally know 2 people before I got in.
1. is an idiot and he joined the army
2. is my dad who joined right out of HS and made E9 highest enlisted grade

i also sometimes hear that u can stay out of jail when u join military?

no that I know of, bad credit can bar you from service these days

My cousin and a pretty good friend of mine are both in the military - one RAF and the other I believe to just be Army, cousin is on placement in Afghanistan at the moment, though out of harm's way. Not sure where my friend is, last I knew he was partying on leave.
