anyone know what it takes to code the ecu of an e46 that was preciously automatic, but had a 5spd swap done to it so it doesnt throw a check light?

Well I know that the two transmissions have different wiring harnesses, and I believe (not certain on this so don't hold me to it), that they have different ECU's. But, I'm not entirely sure. That's what it was like in my friends Eclipse, but then again, its also an Eclipse.
