Those gauges are awesome, I've installed a few in e36's and a e46m. They plug right in the obd port for most readings

Not crazy expensive if I remember correctly.

going to start collecting stuffs for the LS1 swap, don't have enough funds for the custom cluster that I want from broadfield BUT I want to get gauges I can incorporate later, and this fits the bill perfectly

i do like the mazda speed 3. Thats a pretty good choice. They can be pretty quick. Handle well. Still a 4 door. I think id want something like that. quick/fast 4 doors.

Yep, actually I would put it ahead of the evolution:
Its cheaper, and I think it looks better. Downside is, you're not going to make anywhere near the same kind of power for the same price. But if you're looking something to do a few mods to, make low\handle, and DD I'd think it'd be just the thing.
I'd wait a couple of months for the winter prices to kick in and pick one up for 14k or so.
