In order to actually press charges, we'd have to prove damages in one way or another. This is almost impossible to do over the internet, and the court case would drag out for quite some time. Although it would end up on Jalopnik and the court of public opinion has sided in our favor thus far, the positivity brought by Jalopnik coverage might damn the court case, as it would be improving our image, not making it worse.

Mixed bag, my friend. There are many options to take and we're investigating them all.

They'll vehemently deny it, despite a couple different forum posters acting on our behalf. One of our C63 clients put the troll's comments and [tuner-at-fault]'s comments through recognition software and found an 85%+ match in diction, word choice, punctuation, whathaveyou.

We also have it proven that [tuner-at-fault]'s comments and the troll's comments are coming from the same MAC address, but their company is twelve large (just as we are), and that would prove difficult in pointing out a single entity.

They're trying to slander us because we're building a Black Series for SEMA, getting huge props all over the internet for it, and they're going through some money trouble at the moment. One of our clients went in there for an analysis of his car (without telling us, but whatever) and the owner started ranting about how we're ripoff artists and we need to be stopped, or something similar to that degree. Odds are, he's just trying to get us to air out our dirty laundry in public, whatever he thinks we have hiding in our closet.

It's a hairy situation, but my PR cap is on and I will not stop until this whole ordeal ceases to exist.
