Had a new rear tire fitted this morning. They took the old one off the wheel then freaked out when they saw an inner tube.
Now trying to explain that no inner tube = a higher risk of explosion for me because wheel was not designed for tubeless tires is pretty hard when you're a 19 year old girl in a garage full of guys that fit tires all day long and refuse to listen.
Welp if I die of tire failure I know who to blame.

Your tyre won't explode, people normally fit inner tubes when they can't be arsed fixing a puncture, see it all the time.
