Are your e46's as quiet as mine? The PO stuck a magnaflow muffler on the car, and it's REALLY quiet.

They're not loud cars, especially in the cabin, I would suggest a muffler and res delete, with straight pipe back to resonated tips. It sounds really nice, and doesn't drone much in the cabin, its a great combo.
