    this is very nice. pic saved to show her. its currently as-found bodywork wise, apart from welding where it had rotted and we've coated the underside of all panels with red-lead to stop rust. the outer paint is still found-in-a-field condition..
    its had a conversion so its right hand drive, we've got a 2.5l BMW engine in there and all jag front end and suspension. everything is bolt on bolt off so we can return it to standard if needed.
    she needs it lowered so she can get the people she cares for in and out of it - its going to be her daily and she is a carer for elderly people... she's BONKERS. so far its down 2 inches from standard, which is really not a lot when you look at the standard height. ):
    we thought about air ride out of a range rover sport, because she is not considerate of undercarriages. she had a slightly lowered punto once and beat the shit out of it on country lanes. poor thing.

        Definitely! Optimised for modern use though, I think my car is probably the only one in the family that isn't frankensteined.
        The towing landrover is chipped and tows at 90, the racer is only landrover in body shape, the truck is.. as said above. You should see the workhorse! Infact, lemme find a picture. DVLA had no idea what to call it so just shoved it in the Tractor category.

          • front of the house as it currently stands. the two on the right are full blown endurance racers. one on the left is in for repair.

            the workhorse. the fuel tank is a jerry can, the cab is bits of various land rover discoveries, and it has a wood splitter attached on the back.

                dad has, not by choice but by design. his work involves a lot of small wooded places and off roading, so landrovers it is. the racers are landies because our sponsor at one point was the biggest landrover spares company in the UK, so we couldn't really turn that down. xD

                edit;

                newest addition to the troop, old photo though. ):

                          Czechoslovakian or Serbian TAM 150 T11. Its insanity. I had a drive of it the other day and its HUGE and everything is written ingobbledegook so I had no idea how to even turn it off or on. It has little rubber gun holders inbetween the seats.
