ok, so i need to go and buy an angle grinder. what kind of pads do i need to purchase in order to cut the welds that hold a plate on a strut...and to smooth out those welds after i remove the plate? i want to relocate the plate, so i need to remove it cleanly.

cutoff wheel, grinding wheel, then hit it off with sand paper.
