think you said wire brush any rust (don't think there is any) then sand with 100 grit? then 300?
then Por 15?

POR15 lays out pretty good, so I think I would just hit it all with some 180 grit paper and call it a day. Your not really ever going to see it much, so that is what I would do.

As long as its scuffed some, it should lay on just fine and not come off.

Do however, hit it with some wax and grease remover after sanding to make sure the surface is clean. Then the POR should bond to it like a boss.
