anyone know shit about remote starters? cause this is the second time its just stopped working, and its no the battery in the remote cuz the car tries to start but just wont turn over. turns over fine with the key though

2001 mdx. got it installed at bestbuy(don't make fun of me) worked fine for about a year. someone did work on my car and it didn't work. brought it to best buy and the guy fixed it in like 4 minutes, worked great. and recently i had bodywork done and its stopped working again.

put the key in the ignition (leave it turned off), then remote start it. if it starts then its the immobilizer bypass. if not then maybe tach needs to be reprogrammed. possibly they disconnected the battery when they were doing work and it was reset to factory defaults
