No, but I was a smartass when he pulled me over.
Cop: "Do you know how fast you were going?"
Me (remembering not to admit to anything): "Do YOU know how fast I was going?"
Cop: "Do YOU know how fast you were going?"
Me: "Do YOU know how fast I was going?"
Cop: "91 in a 55."
Me: "...That seems accurate."

There was no way I could have outrun him. Even though it's an Si, it's still a Civic [foreveralone.png]

Cop wasn't the smartest guy in the land. He gave me the envelope ("How to Apply For Court Supervision") that applies to people going 21-30 over the limit. He checked the box that said I don't need to appear in court (court's mandatory for this). He wrote down my car as a '98 Civic Si (it's a 2008). And he let me go in, like, two minutes. I don't think he realized how fast I was actually going. Most pullovers in that range involve threats of arrest, lots of yelling and whatnot. This guy (Illinois State Police) was actually pretty laid back, laughed a bit, and sent me on my way.

Here is my final route.
You've got balls, son. And that's coming from a man who lives five minutes from that highway, and uses it almost daily.
Better do that stretch between these hours, or you're fucked:
Weekdays: 9pm-5am
Weekends: God help you.
It's a gorgeous route, as you get to drive through metro Chicago, but if you want one that's less interspersed with traffic, consider this:
I-90E to I-294S (by Chicago-O'Hare International Airport)
I-294S to I-80E
I-80E to I-90E (by Portage, IN)
Unless, of course, you're specifically going to the city to chill, in which case go ahead. It's just gonna be traffic traffic traffic.

Is it still as beautiful at night as it is during the day?
Is traffic only in metro area of Chicago?
I am planning on sleeppin somewhere around Chicago.
