Power steering delete. Should I do it?

I would and did on my integra, but thats because I ***** the PS on it
and it was a loop back not a delete

i'd only delete it if it it was broken and cost a shit ton to fix

New compressor will be a lot cheaper than installing a rack that car didnt originally come with.

For some reason I highly doubt that you would go throught the trouble of converting to manual rack and driving PS rack with no pump is almost impossible.



Its free mod, bruh. Just cut the belt off and you can tell all of your homies that how sick no ps feels and that you get better road feel.

The correct way to do it is to take out the pump and loop it back the PS on the integra felt like shit, like a hovercraft on the high way.

Loop back meaning what?

leave the reservoir in place just take out the pump and connect the lines. I used a fitting with threads on both sides, some sealant/gasket, and some clamps never had a problem.

Yeah pretty close, a little better than no PS actually.
I had 2 eg civics before that with no PS from factory, drove them for about 5 or so years so I'd say I would know better than some.

I havent had any cars without PS but have driven few, of which one was with PS rack but PS delete. It felt really really bad! It was good 2x harder to turn than non PS rack.

I liked it, but I also kept the pump just in case I didnt
Honestly it took about 10 min to delete and would take about the same time to put back.
No PS in a light car doesn't really matter unless your doing a K turn then it kind of sucks, but you get used to it.

More like less than 1" off the road. Same concept, exc4ept one looks cooler and doesnt suffer nearly as much.
