Something I would never do, get my kid a fast car. Coming form someone who just started driving 2 years ago, and my brother and his friends are all getting their licenses right now. I would never give them something that I had much money in, or a car that would cost a fortune to insure. Fuck. That.

My kid would get a 524D or an old 240d Mercedes, or some other slow boat. He could get coils/bags and nice wheels if he behaves, maybe try to teach him to just cruise.

Yeah, which is why they can buy their own car. I know I wasn't the easiest on my dad's ZX2 when he did let me drive it. (rarely)
