If I go with 16's the car will be 36 mm or around 1 3/8" lower with just wheels. That is with a 195/40 tire

A 195/45 will lower it by about an inch.

Just called again and the highest offset I can get is 12mm. Not looking good for the front because I needed 32 to fit an 8" wheel.

This is getting to be a pain in the ass.

If I did:

16x8 et 12 front
16x8 et 0 rear

That would give me roughly a 1/2" poke front and rear with stock fenders. Think that would work with a roll/moderate pull?

I'd run 195/45 tires
