Idk, I've had good luck when I took tickets to court. I got a ticket for 87 in a 55 and was going to loose my license because of a prior ticket as well. I went to court and explained I needed my license to work and he dropped the ticket to 59 in a 55 and I got 2 points.

Most lucky I got was being pulled over for 78 in a 30. The cop wasn't even mad though. He simply asked me if I had any idea of how fast I was going and I told him probably over 70. Then he asked if I knew the roads and I told him no, I was just trying to get home (I had a chick in the car), it was raining like a mother fucker and he took my license and registration. He came back after 2 minutes and told me to slow the fuck down and have a good night.
