Need your guy's opinions on something.

I want to vinyl wrap my car, because its cheaper, and arguably easier than paint. I figure if I can get a few friends together who have done some vinyl stuff before (IE roof wrap, etc) we could do the easy stuff, (Hood, roof, hatch, fenders), and then take it to a shop to do the harder stuff (bumpers, doors, quarter panels), I could do it for relatively cheap.

Thoughts?

You'll have a hard time finding a shop to do the hard parts for you for cheap unless you know them. You pay them to do the hard parts, and the rest is nothing for them. It's usually a package deal not them doing relatively the same amount of work for significantly less money. Just my .02. Call and find out though because I've been on and off considering a vinyl wrap myself. I anticipate my car getting trashed this year and I also know I will want to go back to dakar after I mix it up with a new color

i suppose. usually id be all for "eat their brains to gain their knowledge" or "eat their heart to gain their courage". But if they are societies waste, they cant really have much to offer

I didn't mean it would be cheap for me to do it, I just meant it would be cheaper than having it done entirely by them, I figure less labor = less money.

I mean, that is unless I can find a vinyl wrapper and get friendly with him, in which case it would be cheaper haha.
