Story time! So I got pulled over on the way to work this morning

me yelling back to the cop - my windows dont roll down, so I have to open the door
cop - oh, ok. wheres your (sees front plate in door pocket). I guess that answers that. No inspection or registration sticker?
me - the guy at the inspection place said it was pointless becuase the tire was so bald
cop - which tire
me - right rear
cop -........oh, yea its pretty bad. license and registration
me - umm hang on. (digging through papers)
cop - did you just register the car?
me - I just moved from ct, see there are my ct plates I havent mailed back yet
cop - ah i see. ill be right back


cop - ok heres the deal. im giving you a fix it ticket for your tire. get that replaced. then get the car inspected. also, wheres your side view mirror?
me - it randomly fell off the other day
cop - *sigh* fix that too. but the tire is the only thing thats really important. you have 24 hours
me - ill be in Georgia in 24 hours
cop - ok, ill make a note that im aware youre going out of town. just plea not guilty and bring your plane ticket to court
me - im driving
cop - *sigh* ummmmmmmm
me - hotel receipt?
cop - yea sure. i guess that works. get that tire replaced right when you get back
me - ok thanks
cop - and wear your seat belt, next time you'll get a ticket for that.
me - i usually do, but my commute to work is like 2 miles.

then i bsed with the cop about work

cop - have a nice day.


so I got a fix it ticket for a bald tire. nothing else. and he told me that he'll drop that if i get it replaced next week.

Most of the young cops over here are very unrelaxed and kinda aggressive. very overambitious as well.
